The California Department of Insurance has issued a public notice inviting interested parties to a workshop titled “Net Cost of Reinsurance and Ratemaking,” which will occur on December 5, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. PST. CDI has scheduled the workshop to seek input on its contemplated proposal to standardize treatment of reinsurance costs in property insurance ratemaking, and will receive both written comments prior to the workshop and oral comments during the session. 2024 marks the 20th year that the Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP Greater DC Community Foundation has been supporting the local Washington, DC community. The Foundation was established in November 2004 to provide the Firm’s Washington, DC attorneys and staff professionals an opportunity to work together to enhance the impact of individual charitable contributions and volunteer efforts in our community.
