On Wednesday, June 12, Dallas Children’s Charities presented WOKC with a $2,500 check! 🌟 This philanthropic organization has donated over 300 toys and games to our Celebration Closet for WOKC’s Warrior Families for the past three years. DCC has also sponsored our 2023 and 2024 Run for the Kids event. WOKC is grateful for all that DCC does for our families and so many others in Dallas! This month Wipe Out Kids' Cancer is joining forces with 78 Jersey Mike’s Subs in the Dallas – Fort Worth Metroplex for the 14th annual March “Month of Giving” fundraising campaign to support local charities. During the month of March, customers can make a donation to Wipe Out Kids’ Cancer at any DFW Jersey Mike’s restaurant. This can be done by ordering online or in-store. The “Month of Giving” campaign will culminate with Jersey Mike’s “Day of Giving” on Wednesday, March 27, when DFW Jersey Mike’s restaurants will give 100 percent of the day’s sales – not just profit – to Wipe Out Kids’ Cancer. Wipe Out Kids' Cancer is currently looking for an intern in office! This will be a hybrid position and you will be working under our Marketing and communications manager. This position will assist the marketing and communications manager with content creation ideas, marketing, inventory of our Buddy Bags, social media marketing, public relations and much more! If you or someone you know wants to gain hands-on experience in the non-profit marketing field, we encourage you to fill out an application.
