Our Q2 2024 Office Marketbeats are out! 3 Things to Know about the state of Milwaukee’s Office Market: 1.)  Leasing Strong in the CBD: Year-to-date total leasing (new leases and renewals) increased 10% year-over-year from 2023. New leasing increased 7% YOY. 2.)  Class A Asking Rents Continue to Rise: High-quality properties continue to be in demand, with Class A rates increasing 1.8% YOY to $25.36 psf. 3.)  Small Tenants Heading to Suburbs or Abandoning Office Space: New leases signed under 10,000 sf in the CBD have decreased 46% YTD from 2019 (pre-pandemic), while increasing 23% in non-CBD submarkets.
