Every day, a clinical trial is delayed due to recruitment planning issues. Often, it’s because recruitment planning came too late in the process. Today, we’re excited to share our latest white paper, Blueprint for Modern Patient Recruitment, which consolidates the top strategies sponsors are using to effectively plan and execute patient recruitment. We explore: 👉 How to quantify ROI on patient recruitment investments 👉 Fundamental shifts from a traditional to modern recruitment approach 👉 5 strategies top sponsors are using to modernize patient recruitment 👉 How to build a culture of patient centricity For industry professionals aiming to drive change and create more certainty in clinical trial recruitment, this white paper is not just a must-read but a roadmap to success. #ClinicalResearch #PatientRecruitment #ClinicalTrials #ClinicalTrialDiversity https://bit.ly/3IjykSp

We are a Modern Clinical Trial Marketplace. We help patients access research and help trials recruit more patients.
About us
We believe that every patient deserves the chance to participate in a clinical trial if it could help them. Unfortunately, today, most patients are structurally shut out from the clinical trial system. They do not have access to academic research hospitals so they’re left struggling to navigate an opaque system filled with medical jargon and middle-men. At the same time, researchers are struggling to find patients – roughly 86% of all clinical trials are delayed while trying to recruit enough participants. This is why we built Power. To increase access by empowering all patients. Power is the most patient-friendly platform for clinical trials. We are making it easy for all patients to discover promising clinical trials and get in touch with the researchers directly. And in the process of doing this, we are unblocking one of the biggest bottlenecks in medical innovation.

"Clinical trial participants should be national heroes" Kevin Craig, Michael Gold and Dan Karlin joined me to discuss building patient trust in clinical trials at CNS Summit A few salient points stood out: 1. Trust in pharma is at an all time low. While we can't do anything about misaligned incentives, there is plenty that sponsors and sites can be intentional about. 2. It starts with honesty. Especially given the hype in psychedelic research, it's important to be clear about expectations. One site we spoke with has even transitioned to calling patients "volunteers". 3. Patient recruitment is the tip of the spear. This starts with response rates and flows through to how medical information is collected, shared, and protected 4. The site experience drives so much. First impressions at a clinic from the waiting room to staff organization can put patients at ease or on edge Had a blast moderating this panel and can't wait to reconnect with the CNS community next year

I had a great time on Power's podcast with Brandon Li, sharing insights on building high-performing neuropsych research sites and innovative Alzheimer's recruitment strategies. We discussed: Patient-first sites: Accessible clinics with remote capabilities and tech integration. Tech in trials: EMR tools for identifying candidates, virtual pre-screening, and reaching underserved communities. Recruitment challenges: Blending community outreach with technology and supporting caregivers. Key learnings: Compassion and education for patient retention and trial participation. What are your thoughts on using tech and patient-centered approaches in Alzheimer’s research? 👇 Full episode link in the comments!
🎙️This week, something new...we're talking about building high-performing sites in neuropsych. In this episode, Jessica Branning, President of JBran Consulting and former CEO of ClinCloud, discusses her journey building high-performing clinical research sites in the neuropsych space and the innovative approaches she's bringing to Alzheimer's recruitment. Here’s what we cover: 1. Building patient-first research sites - Creating accessible, patient-centric clinics with remote capabilities - Embracing tech like EMR-integrated recruitment tools - Offering assessments as part of continuity of care 2. Role of tech in Alzheimer’s trials - How EMR integrations can identify trial candidates - Remote pre-screening and virtual assessments for wider reach - Tech solutions to connect with underserved areas and diverse communities 3. Overcoming patient recruitment challenges - Combining community engagement with tech innovations - Tailoring outreach for hard-to-reach populations - The role of caregiver support in Alzheimer’s research 4. Speed matters in patient recruitment...and more than you might think ⚡ We dug into the data, and it turns out that calling patient referrals within 5 hours boosts screening visit bookings by 50% compared to a 22-hour delay. Read more here 👇
Just how important is time to respond?
