This week the Detroit Economic Club invited Dr. Adriana Kugler, a member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve Board, to discuss the state of the economy, labor market, inflation, and outlook on monetary policy. She views the economy as “being in a good position after making significant progress in recent years toward our dual-mandate goals of maximum employment and stable prices.” She also sees the labor market remaining solid and inflation appearing on sustainable path to the Fed’s 2% goal. During the lunch meeting, I was honored to host students from Northville High School as part of the DEC's student program. I also want to thank WJR 760 AM Paul W.
