It’s hard to believe it’s been 50 years since the Women’s Resource Center was founded — starting with a simple newspaper ad and growing into a vital resource for women and girls in southeastern Pennsylvania. Over the last five decades, we’ve helped thousands navigate life’s transitions, providing the support and tools needed for a brighter future. For 50 years, we’ve been empowering women to create hope for tomorrow. Visit womensresourcecenter.net to see how we’re continuing our mission. Here's to 50 years of impact — and many more to come! As we enter our 50th year of operation, we would like to thank Graham Media Partners for providing us with their pro bono social media campaign. We are incredibly grateful for the partnership we have made with Graham Media Partners!

Today is #GivingTuesday! Our Executive Director, Beth Monroe, would like to share with you all a message on The Linda Rice Emergency Fund. When you donate to the Women's Resource Center, you are helping a woman going through a life transition keep her heat on, get groceries, or fix her car so she can get to work to provide for herself and her family. We can't thank you enough for your support on #GivingTuesday. Watch Beth's video below and view our donation form here: https://bit.ly/4g3S2Al #WRC GivingTuesday

Former Board Member and Advisory Councilmember to WRC, Kate Hermans, and her husband, held WRC's Party with a Purpose in their beautiful Radnor home this past October. We are thankful to Kate and The Philadelphia Inquirer for giving WRC and PWAP a mention in an article written about her home! Read an excerpt of the article below, and make sure to visit The Inquirer's Real Estate section to read the full piece. "Since 2016, Kate has hosted a fundraiser at the home along with cochair Liz Weber, for the Women’s Resource Center, a nonprofit focused on supporting women and girls through life transitions. The WRC, celebrating 50 years in 2025, provides women in need with counseling and financial, health-related, and legal resources. The 10th annual Party with a Purpose, held at the Hermans’ home in October, raised more than $25,000 to support women and girls in the five counties of Southeastern Pennsylvania." https://lnkd.in/e--jZe-T
