Happy Thanksgiving from the Women Helping Women team! We are so grateful for the communities we serve, community partners we collaborate with, and all of the folks who support our work to prevent gender-based violence, empower all survivors, and dismantle systemic oppression. Recognizing that the holidays can be challenging for various reasons, see above for some tips to set and reinforce boundaries during this season.

Our donors at WHW are an irreplaceable part of our community of support. Empowering survivors and preventing gender-based violence wouldn't happen without your financial support! Every survivor-centric intervention initiative we undertake, and every innovative new prevention program we offer, it all begins with the WHW Annual Fund. We are on pace to serve a record-breaking number of 9,000 survivors and provide 40,000+ crisis response services by year end. Every bit of support helps us continue to grow and help more survivors each year. Please consider supporting survivors through this initiative by giving financially to WHW. https://lnkd.in/e3kERD45

Meet Amber! She is WHW's Vice President of Prevention. What Amber enjoys most about her position is the ability to align her professional passion with the resources, ambitious team and collaborate community partners that WHW engages. It’s the perfect combination for large scale community change to occur and improve health outcomes for the communities where we live, work and play. We are so grateful to have someone who is so passionate in this role!
