We are thrilled to share the Save the Date and registration link (https://lu.ma/0t06173q) for the Women+ in Hydrogen 2025 International Women's Day event! This will be our fifth annual event celebrating International Women's Day and we are so excited to host the in-person portion of this hybrid event in Houston, Texas. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 We hope that you'll be able to join us on March 13 for this celebration, which will feature all-female panels on substantive issues in the hydrogen sector, as well as lots of opportunities to network! This year, we're also including a site visit and are grateful to Syzygy Plasmonics for offering to host our network at their site in the afternoon on March 12. 🙌 Keep an eye out in the coming days and weeks for speaker announcements, information about our agenda, and more information about the site visit. In-person seating is limited – if you’re interested in joining us in-person, please be sure to request an in-person seat when you register.‼️ As in years past, we’ll review the in-person registration requests with an eye towards including women from as many organizations as possible. We are aiming to confirm in-person seats by February 14, if not before, to give those attending in-person time to book any needed travel. We're looking forward to what we hope will be another amazing opportunity for women in the hydrogen sector to connect, collaborate, and share knowledge and to grow and deepen relationships. A big thank you to our planning team - Nancy Selman, Lilya Nguyen, Elly DiLeonardi, Yelda Nur Demirdöğen, Leah Pillsbury, Seema Santhakumar, Maureen Ayabei, Jennifer Lee, Mylene Mayers, Beth Deane, and Matilde Urquizo - as well as to our sponsors thus far, Baker Botts, Edison Electric Institute, FTI Consulting, GTI Energy, and the Renewable Hydrogen Alliance - and to Melanie Adamson and Alder & Co. for the amazing graphics! - Martina Steinkusz & Sandra Safro Osborn - Women+ in Hydrogen Co-Founders

Jillian Evanko, President and CEO of Chart Industries, Kathy Ayers, VP at Nel Hydrogen, and Jennifer Gangi, Director of Communications at FCHEA provided a lot of laughs, as well as advice in their afternoon fireside chat. They covered topics from the board room to the laboratory and recommended we continually open doors for others. As each of them has been involved in acquisitions, their advice is to be patient, give it time and take the time to meet with your new co-workers and understand how each company's philosophy can benefit the other. #internationalwomensday #inspireinclusion #hydrogen

Demand, demand, demand. Our panel had an excellent discussion about all the elements impacting the demand for #hydrogen in today's energy transition. It was wonderful to hear from various segments of the industry about how we need to increase focus on the demand side and look to, and build off of existing guidelines and regulations from the EU and California to ensure the development of projects and the infrastructure needed to make it a reality. Thank you to our panelists: Hanh Nguyen, OCI/Unilever, Tomeka Mcleod, BP USA, Dorothee Boireau Peuzé, Credit Agricole CBI, Chathu G., RMI, and Adria Wilson, Ph.D., Breakthrough Energy. #internationalwomensday

The incomparable Sunita Satyapal, Ph.D. joined us this morning to provide an overview of the US National Clean Hydrogen Strategy. She's been called the "Godmother of Hydrogen" and we couldn't agree more! Sunita stands as a leader, mentor and inspiration to so many women in the energy industry. As she wrapped up, she took a moment to honor her Mother on #InternationalWomensDay and the influence and guidance she provided Sunita for her education and career. #inspireinclusion U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)
