A few things we learned & celebrated together: 🩵 Two published #womeninprint authors 💕 A print OEM announcing 100% market share for a major product offering 💛 A 43-year graduation anniversary from Cal-Poly 🖤 How not to skimp on the season’s cocktail workhorse herb: rosemary! (A bushel is better than a spring, apparently.) (🤍 Bonus: When in doubt, a White Russian never fails for a holiday season cocktail/mocktail!) Our featured guest 🐝 BarBees Bartending was inspirational - both with their small, woman-owned business start-up story (happy 6 year anniversary, Jess & Willow Sprague!) AND their 🍯 honey-infused specialty cocktail recipes! If you think negotiation at work – sales contracts, salary and benefits, roles and responsibilities – is difficult, just wait until you come home. Because negotiating skills are required as much (if not more) at the kitchen table as they are at the conference room table. 🙏 Full of thanks today to negotiation coach extraordinaire Joan Moon for these strategies that can be used for everything from who's sitting at the kid's table to more serious family conflicts. (Bonus - you can apply these tips in the workplace, too!)
