  • 2024 was a year of growth, innovation, and impact for SheTech. Over 3,000 high school girls explored the possibilities of STEM through hands-on learning, mentorship, and community. From coding workshops to engineering challenges, every moment was a step toward closing the gender gap in tech and empowering the next generation of innovators. What stands out most isn’t just the numbers – it’s the curiosity, resilience, and excitement these girls brought to every experience. As we reflect on the year, we’re reminded that the future of STEM is brighter and more inclusive because of these young women and the mentors who lift them up. Here’s to continuing this momentum in 2025 and beyond. Thank you to everyone who made this year possible! Cydni Rogers Tetro

  • It takes an ecosystem to create lasting impact. This year, we took a moment to reflect on the incredible strides made for women in tech over the past decade. The momentum we’ve seen—the mentorship, funding, advocacy, and leadership—has transformed industries, communities, and futures. At our annual Women Tech Awards, the Impact Award is a symbol of that collective effort. Typically given to one outstanding individual, this year we honored several trailblazers whose unwavering commitment over the last ten years has shaped the path for countless women in tech. Their contributions span sectors—venture, government, education, and corporate leadership—creating space and expanding opportunities at every level. To each recipient, thank you. Your dedication reminds us that meaningful change doesn’t happen alone. It takes time, resilience, and the belief that more is possible. As we celebrate this milestone, we invite everyone to think about how they can take action. The next ten years will be even more transformative, and we can’t wait to see who joins us on this stage. Here's to an amazing 2025! • As we near the end of 2024, we look back on some of the top events, themes, and moments from the year. As we begin our end-of-year countdown, we have to start by reflecting on the incredible Women Tech Awards event. We love an opportunity to celebrate women in tech and this event offered us a chance to celebrate and recognize some of the most talented change makers in our technology community. This year's finalists and recipients were an impressive group of women — 5 PhDs, 15 master degrees, a law degree, countless STEM degrees to name a few. We had 7 C-suite executives, 5 board members, a dozen entrepreneurs, and 2 VC investors. Additionally, these women hold 8 patents and 1 patent-pending while others are STEM educators who are helping make tech education more accessible to women. And those facts just scratch the surface of the impact these women have had and continue to have! Three cheers for the 2024 Women Tech Awards honorees and recipients, the Rising Stars, and the Student Pathway Recipients. These women are the future of STEM. Diane Acevedo, Cydni Rogers Tetro, Atim Atte Enyenihi, Ph.D., Bonnie Brinton Anderson, Xinru Page, Jessica A. Elwell

  • ONE MORE. It’s a simple idea, but in 2024, it’s been a game-changer. For the past few years, we've championed the power of inviting one more person — one more woman to mentor, one more friend to network with, one more high school girl to attend SheTech Explorer Day. This year, we’ve seen that power in action. ✨ People are showing up. ✨ They’re bringing their friends. ✨ They’re making room for more women in tech. Share your "one more" for 2025 or tell us how you've been felt the impact of someone adding one more seat at the table for you. Together, we're building a stronger community for women in STEM. Let’s keep the momentum going into 2025! #WomenInTech #STEMLeadership #EmpowerWomen #WomenSupportingWomen #TechPipeline Cydni Rogers Tetro

  • At our holiday social, Georgi Ann Rausch, PhD inspired us with a powerful metaphor: just like working out, we can build muscles in our careers. We can grow stronger, trust ourselves, and know we’re worthy of success. Whether it’s having a “spotter” to support you, pushing through the hard reps, or simply remembering to smile along the way – every journey is uniquely yours to build. Thank you to everyone who joined us for a beautiful night of connection, reflection, and celebration. And thanks to our host Adobe for providing a warm welcome and amazing venue. Here’s to growing, supporting each other, and embracing the future we’re building together.
