🌟 Spreading Warmth & Kindness This December! 🌟 During December, the Workforce Solutions Coastal Bend Child Care Team came together to collect socks, toiletries, water bottles, sweets, inspirational cards, coats, and winter clothing to help homeless individuals stay warm this winter. The team joined the amazing staff at Mother Teresa Shelter to serve breakfast to over 125 individuals and delivered 200 care bags filled with essentials, along with several large bags of winter clothing. 🎄✨ Spreading Holiday Cheer for Foster Youth! ✨🎄 This holiday season, Workforce Solutions Coastal Bend team members proudly partnered with foster care agencies, BCFS and the DFPS PAL Program, to brighten the holidays for local youth in foster care. 🎁 Angel Trees were set up at our workforce centers, allowing staff to fulfill holiday wishes—especially for teens and young adults. Thanks to their generosity, over $1,000 in gift cards to local merchants were donated, giving the receiving youth the freedom to shop at their leisure along with additional gifts to help make the season extra special. We’re honored to give back to our local community and support area youth.
