This week's Trucking Tributes features Joe and Manny with DB Schenker! Of their first visit to Wreaths Across America headquarters to pick up loads of veterans' wreaths, they shared: "You’ve got two Texas boys up there and you know, it’s really beautiful. It was cold and there was snow everywhere, but we were just taking it all in. You could tell that the people involved up there are genuine and really care about what they’re doing. It was super special and you don’t get to see that every day. Then we got loaded and headed for Arlington where we got to help distribute the wreaths to family members who were coming in for Family Day, there. It was just an incredible experience for both of us.” Learn more about Joe and Manny on the blog, and tune in for their Trucking Tuesday interview on Wreaths Across America Radio tomorrow at 11am and 4pm ET! https://lnkd.in/g9-i9Mhq

This week's Trucking Tributes features Blake Cool with Witte Brothers Exchange. “When I was doing my pre-employment skills test, they require of all their drivers, and I saw the specialty Wreaths Across America trailer in the back corner of the lot and asked my trainer about it. He gave me a brief description of what it was, and I thought that sounded intriguing. Once I was driving, I learned more about the mission. I knew that Witte had a lot of military veterans working for them and they liked to cycle through the veterans to be sure they have a chance to participate in the convoy first.” Learn more about Blake and his work supporting our mission - listen to his interview on Wreaths Across America Radio today during Trucking Tuesday at 11am and 4pm ET, and read more on the blog: https://lnkd.in/ghamTjQM

We recently announced a recommittal to our formal partnership with American Gold Star Mothers, originally established in 2016. An updated memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024, the day before the annual escort to Arlington kicked off in Maine. The agreement outlines several key areas, such as collaborative volunteer efforts and fundraising in communities across the country; a weekly interview segment for AGSM on Wreaths Across America Radio; and naming Wreaths Across America Radio an exclusive media partner for AGSM’s annual convention each June; among the re-establishment of collaboration in the existing partnership. This week's Trucking Tributes features Becker Farms Trucking and Todd Cornelius. Todd said his initial introduction to the Wreaths Across America mission came about following the passing of his mom and dad. “My dad was a Vietnam vet,” Todd shared. “I lost my mom in 2019 and my dad in 2020. The first year my mom was gone we got involved in placing wreaths at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Just to see that and be a part of that was just unbelievable. It’s been a really humbling experience.” We are grateful for the support of our transportation partners! Hear more from Todd on Wreaths Across America Radio tomorrow at 11am and 4pm - part of #TruckingTuesday! https://lnkd.in/grBuXhps
