We are proud to celebrate Dr. Sheree Utash, President of WSU Tech, on her recent induction into the Kansas Aviation Museum, Kansas Aviation Hall of Fame! Since taking the helm in 2015, Dr. Utash has been instrumental in leading the college through its transformation into WSU Tech, now the largest technical college in Kansas. Her vision and leadership have driven remarkable growth and positioned WSU Tech as a leader in technical education and workforce development. Join us in celebrating Dr. Utash’s induction at the Kansas Aviation Honor Awards which was held on November 19th!

This week the Partnership, in collaboration with Wichita Public Schools - USD259, WSU Tech, and healthcare partners, welcomed 200 bright young minds to the “FutureReady Experience: Healthcare” event. Walser Automotive Group and WSU Tech are tackling the technician shortage head-on with the new Walser Automotive Service Lab, part of a $3 million renovation to expand WSU Tech's automotive training programs. The 30,000-square-foot facility in Wichita, KS, now includes a heavy truck area and lecture hall, equipping students with skills to meet workforce demands at Walser Auto Campus. This partnership aims to address the nationwide gap, where demand for auto, diesel, and collision techs outpaces supply.
