Our Mission is to transform the Minnesota transportation industry through the advancement of women. Join us!     WTS Minnesota is making a pool of $2,000 available to support BIPOC members and friends pursuing professional development opportunities in the upcoming year. This is a pilot offering; more funds may be available in the future. The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee welcomes feedback on this program; please email feedback to wtsminnesotadandi@gmail.com. Applications are due by Friday, December 13, 2024 at 5 PM.     WTS Minnesota is proud to offer a two-part training series from Strategic Diversity Initiatives! In these interactive workshops, we’ll explore this cultural moment, how it’s affecting us and our workplaces, what it means to show up as allies and advocates in the face of sexism & misogyny, genderism, racism, ableism, ageism, and other biases. Coffee and light breakfast to be provided. Participants are highly encouraged to attend both trainings. If schedules do not allow, it is ok to attend one or the other.     Exciting news! The nomination form for the 2025 WTS-Minnesota Board is now available. This is your chance to be a part of a great organization and contribute to our chapter's future!     Join us for the Learning From Place: Cedar-Riverside/West Bank Tour led by the Minnesota Humanities Center in collaboration with the Pillsbury United Communities/Brian Coyle Center! The tour will cover the history, culture, arts, and activism tied to this Minneapolis neighborhood. The tour will take place Friday, August 2nd from 9AM-12:30PM and will require several hours of standing and walking/rolling. The event will also include a discussion and lunch.
