About us
The Yolo Transportation District (YoloTD) is the local agency responsible for transportation planning and funding for the county of Yolo, California. The district operates Yolobus, a public transit system that provides bus services to the cities and communities within the county. YoloTD also manages transportation funding programs and works with regional partners to improve mobility and access for residents and visitors.

On May 16, the California Transportation Commission unanimously approved funding for new express lanes on I-80 across the Yolo Causeway! This significant $105 million project aims to reduce congestion, enhance transit options, and improve travel times between Davis and West Sacramento. The new express lanes, which will be free for transit and carpools with 3 or more people, will also offer toll options for solo drivers and those with one passenger. Construction is set to begin this fall, with the lanes expected to open in 2028. A huge thanks to everyone involved for their dedication to improving our transportation infrastructure and supporting sustainable transit solutions.
