  • Whether your dream for today includes service, reflection, celebration, or rest, make sure you keep the words, actions, and spirit of Martin Luther King Jr. in your heart. 🤎 Our offices will be closed on Monday, January 20, in observation of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. In the spirit of the day, we will use this time to continue working toward a more equitable society. This holiday is a national day of service for all Americans to volunteer and put in the work to improve their communities, bringing us one step closer to King’s dream of equality.  Meet Minneapolis has a roundup of events in the Twin Cities, which can be enjoyed in person or virtually depending on your schedule: https://lnkd.in/e7K_8c7 #mlkday2025 #holiday

  • We all need someone to guide us—whether it’s along a career path or through a trout stream. 🐟 Especially for those getting their start in the water and natural resources field, a strong mentor is critical in sharing how scientific knowledge can be translated and applied to real world challenges. This International Mentoring Day, we are reminding our community of the positive impact a dedicated mentor can have in growing our workforce and building solutions. At Young Environmental, our internship program is one of our cornerstone investments in mentoring the next generation of scientists, engineers, and community leaders. We provide hands-on experience and practical training that empowers our interns to challenge themselves and grow in just one summer. We are currently accepting applications - please share this opportunity with any students who are embarking on their own journey. Applicants can learn more and apply at: https://lnkd.in/gz9A-b-B ‼️ Don’t miss out, interviews begin soon, and spaces are limited! #hiring #summerinternship #internationalmentoringday
