🎉 This week, Young Mountain Tea completes its 11th circle around the sun! To mark the moment, I’m thrilled to share this video showcasing the launch of our farmer-owned tea factory in Kumaon, India. From the beginning of this journey, partnering with Himalayan farmers to make new, exciting, and delicious organic tea was always the goal. Now, it’s a reality, and I couldn’t be more proud. Shoutout to Jose Rodriguez and the Paralelo team for filming, Cameron Nabors for editing, and Frontier Co-op Co-op and USAID for the support to make this video and the entire project a reality. This morning, I woke up reminded that the path to reaching life goals is filled with challenges, growth, and endless possibilities. I couldn't feel luckier to be chasing down my dream, and to do so with people I admire and love so much (Mitra Nite and Lucas Ahlquist among many others). And stay tuned, because in a few weeks, we're launching a crowdfunding campaign to get the first harvest of teas from the factory next year! Excited to share we've partnered with Frontier Co-op to offer nationwide wholesale distribution! Beginning in October, grocery stores across the country can buy our branded line of organic, compostable tea bags in retail-ready tins and food-service-friendly 100 packs through Frontier Co-op's wholesale distribution. It's been a joy to work with Christina Anderson, Morgan Davis, Alicia Simmons and other members of Frontier's wholesale distribution team to launch this next chapter of our growing partnership. Deeply appreciative of the spirit of collaboration that runs through all our conversations with Frontier Co-op, and super excited for what we have ahead!
