Young SIETAR is proud to host Jeremy Solomons as he shares his wisdom on Global Coaching: How to coach effectively in both the global North and South. Coaching is becoming more accepted and practiced around the world, but what works well in one country or region will not necessarily have the same positive impact in another. We look forward to your attendance at this event. January 28, 2025. 17.00 - 18.00 (5 pm to 6 pm) CET Link to register: https://lnkd.in/eJ6WxX6a #youngsietar #globalcoaching #intercultural
About us
Young SIETAR is an international member-run non-profit organization without borders or regional branches. Young SIETAR is committed to expand its role as a helpmate to a new generation of interculturalists. Through a wide range of activities Young SIETAR aims to build a bridge between training professionals of today and tomorrow. Young SIETAR is willing and able to overcome geographical distance by using today's technological advancements to create and facilitate a so called virtual society. As we of course don't wish to replace the real world, we use this virtual society to stimulate and coordinate local, transnational, cross-cultural, and global activities, where its members have the unique opportunity to exchange intercultural knowledge and experiences with each other. Our Vision Bridging the gap between established professionals, newcomers, and other key players by working virtually to make new theoretical and practical contributions to the field of intercultural competency, while emphasizing diversity, inclusion, and the implementation of new ideas. Mission Statement Young SIETAR provides a platform for interculturalists to develop themselves professionally and personally by putting ideas into practice. We exchange experiences and best practices to support our members and partners with their intercultural projects. Our organization is built upon the idea of differences. Therefore we accept, respect and value (cultural) differences and continuously reflect on our ideas and behavior to stay in line with our values. We contribute to the improvement of the intercultural understanding in collaboration with our partners and other like-minded people.

📌 A Few days ago we had a meaningful Christmas meeting of SIETAR Polska 🇵🇱 "𝐆𝐰𝐢𝐚𝐳𝐝𝐤𝐚 𝐰 #𝐒𝐈𝐄𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐬𝐤𝐚 𝐚𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐲𝐜𝐣𝐢 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐨 𝐬𝐢𝐞 𝐳𝐚𝐝𝐨ść" 🎄 🎅 🤶 It's a Polish tradition that on the 24th, 25th and 26th of December, we get together with our family and before these festive days, during month of December, we gather with our colleagues, classmates, school friends, work buddies and business partners to celebrate this special time of year. 17th December, we had gathered with our Members and Friends. We had three main things to celebrate that evening: 🎊 Christmas 🎊 The 16th anniversary of #SIETARPolska 🎊 Saying a big thank you to SIETAR Austria for their amazing gift. 📮 In Poland, like in many other countries around the world, sending postcards at Christmas has a long tradition. We chatted about the history of Christmas cards in Europe, starting with the first commercial one in 1843 in the UK. In the end of the 19th century they appeared in Poland. We talked about how they started with images from abroad, then had national elements of independence, religious symbols, and more neutral symbols during the PRL era. Still they are part of Christmas tradition. We applied the great idea of sharing wishes on cards, doing it in real time online. We all shared the best moments of the past year, our hopes and wishes for the coming year 2025. It was such a lovely, heart-warming experience. In this warm and friendly space, we all felt the Christmas spirit and the warmth of human connection. 💗 🎄 🥳 🎅 🤶 🎊 🎂 We celebrated the 16th Anniversary of SIETAR Polska's 🇵🇱 , which was established in 2008. We will continue this celebration in our meeting in the second part of January 2025. Information will be send. 🎊 🎄 We were also honoured to have Jina Kim-Prunera MA, ACC (Accredited Certified Coach) from SIETAR Austria 🇦🇹 with us, who kindly gave us a #SIETARPolska Christmas and Anniversary gift 🎁 . The Board and Community are extremely grateful for this gesture, to the President of #SIETARAustria Marie-Therese Claes and Jina Kim-Prunera MA, ACC (Accredited Certified Coach), as well as to all SIETAR Austria's Members. 🙏 🙏 🎄 Thank you to all who joined us making this evening very special: Dr. Joanna Siekiera 周 钺, Grazia GHELLINI, Steve Miller, Jolanta Sobesiuk, Michał Sokół, Prof. Carlos Antonio González-Carrasco, Victoria Spashchenko, Oksana Hera, George Simons, Marzena Korosteńska, Milena Wiśniewska and ruth mashata. 🙏 Thank you SIETAR Polska Revisionary Commission for being with us dr Hiroki Nukui, Eileen Mah Gricuk and Anna Sroka (hope to see you soon). 🙏 Big thank you to my Team SIETAR Polska Anna Kawalska (she/her) and Agnieszka Ches, Ph.D., PMP for making it happened in so charm full way. 💫 #ConversationMatters globally and locally 🌍 🌎 🌏 🕊️ #ISAIAS #diversophyAmbassador #InternationalEducation #interculturalcompetence #paradigm #interculturalityInPractice #learningbydoing

A huge thank you to Jin Lou for her insightful and honest take on personal branding for Interculturalists. For many of us in the field or adjacent to it - modern marketing feels outdated, performative, and invasive. Jin’s personal story and professional success based on her methods simply show us there IS another way, especially for (intercultural) #solopreneurs. “#Personality, self-expression, #individuality, and #creativity” was the big-picture take-away from #YoungSIETAR’s latest webinar. We appreciate the opportunity to partner with her to help our members see another way forward. *These images are just a snapshot of the informative webinar Jin provided. **The little interculturalists who joined in the training have been blurred out of respect for their age and privacy. Jin Luo, thank you. #modernmarketing #alwayslearning #collaboration #intercultural #interculturalidad #intercultura #youngsietarcreators #youngsietarmembers #youngsietarwebinars
