Talent Acquisition Connections that Count
About us
Your Talent Now was originally designed as a job seeker program for those in Talent Acquisition (dba Your Network Now). After several successful cohorts, we shifted our focus to offer companies Talent Acquisition assistance in filling requisitions. We have decided to close our business as of August 2024 and appreciate everyone's support and assistance these last 2 years.

Time + Pain = Change This is a phrase that resonates with us at YTN for a few reasons. 🕰 Time is constant 😢 Pain is the touchstone of all growth 🎓 Change is the result of learning ********************************************************************************* This year there have been 98,000 employees laid off from 326 different tech companies (according to Layoffs.fyi And there are currently 415,000 open tech jobs in the US (according to Bureau of Labor Statistics and citing article from Computerworld ********************************************************************************* Why is this data relevant and how does it tie into time + pain = change? Data doesn't lie. While you can spin data in a variety of directions, at the end of the day the black and white of data is what drives business decisions. For tech, this says that there are more jobs being created than there are laid off from this year. Learning from the past is causing change in how companies hire. The current trend is #fractional or #contract or #temp (they ALL mean the same thing). CTO's and CIO's are looking for ways to solve complex IT and tech problems with smaller budgets. The best way to do this is to hire #fractional workers that can get the problem solved in less time than a fulltime employee. Our favorite sites to register: HireScale, Search Wizards, LHH Cheers to the rest of this year!!! It's gonna be a crazy ride!

What I love about working #remotely is having the flexbility to take a day in the middle of the week to be with my kid. Today... It's all about Waterparks! #GreatWolfLodge for the win!

As a hiring leader, it's crucial to be aware of hiring biases. Over the years, we've emphasized reviewing interviewing practices with our hiring leaders, focusing on: 1. Unconscious bias 2. School bias 3. Company bias And many more. Recognizing these biases helps ensure a fair and equitable candidate experience. Uncovering bias isn't easy, but discussing it often can transform your company's hiring practices. #Hiring #Diversity #Inclusion #Equity #Leadership #WeAreYTN
