Founded in 1974 as Florida’s first runaway program, Youth Crisis Center has grown to one of the largest and best-known providers of services for youth and families. YCC's emphasis on care is for those who have been exposed to traumatic situations such as divorce, homelessness, relocation, loss of life, and abuse. YCC provides a variety of services for children, adolescents, young adults, and families.

On November 1st, 2024, we celebrated the groundbreaking of our Maternity Independent Living and Life Skills (MILLS) program at the Youth Crisis Center. With the support of Senator Bradley and Representative Michael, this state funded program will house 10 young mothers and their children, as well as pregnant young women ages 18-24 who are experiencing homelessness. This program will provide essential services like life skills and parenting training, mental health counseling, career development, academic support, and medical referrals. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special event!
