This image is why I'm so bullish on sports academies... ⁣ EDUCATION IS CHANGING (AND SPORTS WILL HELP ITS TRANSITION). 𝗟𝗲𝘁 𝗺𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗶𝘁 𝘂𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘀 📊 ❶ Micro-schools have grown exponentially since 2020, now serving over 1.5 million K-12 students across the United States. ❷ At Boston University, ~75% of our yearly roster came from prep schools. ❸ Startups are now recruiting the “top 1 percent” of teachers (and paying them 25% more than a school district salary). ❹ Artificial intelligence is already ripping up the current education models. I often discuss how sports can be a 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘺𝘴𝘵 for innovation, and the same is becoming true in education. THEY WILL START TO GET MIXED.
