Thanks to a grant from the Missouri AfterSchool Network, Youth Ambassadors launched an exciting entrepreneurship program. Teens developed their own business ventures, creating plans, managing budgets, and presenting ideas like POW WOW, an LLC vendor cart for handmade dog treats. At our College and Career Day, 70 Youth Ambassadors connected with 8 colleges and explored diverse career paths! Great Jobs KC shared scholarship opportunities, while a young adult panel featuring a firefighter, marketer, and dental student offered real-world insights. A week ago Youth Ambassadors, Inc. opened our new Teen Empowerment Center near 31st & Troost. Youth in KC need to know the community cares about them & their impact in our city.
