Amazon workers feel the pain
The retail behemoth’s need for speed is exacting a severe toll on its shipping workers’ physical health, Vox reports. In a survey of employees at Amazon’s Staten Island warehouse, 66% said they experience physical pain on the job and 42% reported that the pain persists outside of the office. Where is it hurting? Their feet, lower back and knees, signals of developing musculoskeletal disorders. Amazon warehouse workers face strict shipping quotas, with employees reporting they need to ship four orders per minute.

I see a few rather blunt comments here. Yes, manual labor will hurt and its possible injuries can occur. While it is part of the job and they 'should get used to it' that doesn't preclude Amazon or any other employer from trying ro improve. Maybe give slightly longer breaks, find ways yo get workers off their feet more often. But just know, Amazon workers are not alone in this, many workers around the world go through this exact thing.
