💡WHY NETWORKING MATTERS Networking is one of the most effective ways to get a job. In fact, studies have shown that at least 70% of the jobs are found through networking. 🌟Networking Tip #9: Always Be Connecting (My ABC networking guiding principle!) Anytime and anywhere. You never know who you may meet and who may help you. You can meet someone new at a wedding, party or conference. Or even on a plane or on LinkedIn. 👏 True story: My friend at Google was moving from Toronto to Mountain View for her job. Her husband, a smart robotics engineer, wanted to move with her as well. His dream company was Tesla. They used LinkedIn to find a 3rd level connection at Tesla, where he got a referral to the hiring manager. Months later, he got his dream job at Tesla! 🎥 In this video, I talk about my ABC networking rule and share two stories of the power of making connections. 🤔 What are some fruitful opportunities you’ve gained from networking? 📌 My #10Days10Tips series on #NetworkToGetWork, last tip #8: Be enthusiastic https://lnkd.in/eigKqrR #Networking #Tip #Connecting #Career #JobSearch #GetHired #Marketability
