VP Marketing at SparkToro | I said Zero-Click Content first

LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Google — none of them want you to click out and leave their platforms. So beat them at their own game. Create Zero-Click Content. Here's how... #marketing #contentmarketing #zeroclickcontent

How does this only have 52 comments? This is the best post I've seen in months on this platform. You just won over a fan Amanda Natividad . I'll be sharing this with lots of folks, well done!

We, creators, usually look at what's in for us, so we explicitly ask for it. Paradoxically, we get the most value when we give the most value with no expectation for return. However, I won't discard the traditional approach. My opinion is that we should balance it with zero-click content because it's a lot easier to manage traditional content effects. Zero content to accelerate effects, and traditional content to actually convert. Do you agree with me Amanda?

How do you measure success for posts that keep people on-platform? Video views are a clear indicator if you have video, but what about text only posts? I find that reactions (likes, hearts, etc.) Aren't a great measure since they don't provide a ton of value other than showing the world that people say "thumbs up!". I love to see more engaging conversation with back and forth either with the brand or between fans (a combo would be even better). Does that mean you don't post content that's more statement oriented?

And zero-click content also means massive time savings on trying to nurture “leads” via intricate email nurtures that are time-consuming and pretty much ineffective. If you convince them upfront then you have done your job vs trying to convince them after the fact. (Didn’t do your job)

Zero-Click Content is top of mind for building trust and an audience. I love it for artists too. I can’t tell you how many music artists I discovered who just posted their songs online for free. Great breakdown, Amanda Natividad! Incidentally, I also have a toddler. I would very much like to learn more about your potty training prowess and practices.

I love how you break this down. Yes, post to social, but giving people the experiences where they want them (inbox, SMS, etc.) proves to be a growing opportunity.

Well said and you're spot on. I bet a lot of companies will lag behind on this because most marketing teams are measured on MQLs and Pipeline Influenced, which is reliant on attribution. A positive touch point is a positive touch point, build those up and drive revenue. Then go and worry about what impacted the sale by actually getting out and talking to new customers.
