In the second quarter of 2022, the UAE has seen a 9% rise in the number of private sector employees, compared to the same period in 2021, reaching 5.38 million amidst the country’s economic growth, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation said. The ministry issued 537,974 new work permits in Q2 2022, a 27% increase from the same period last year. This follows an S&P Global report revealing that hiring in the UAE kept rising in July, driven by the summer's positive business activity. Here are the sectors that saw the biggest annual increase in the number of work permits 👇.

LinkedIn News Middle East glad to see an increase in the agriculture sector as producing locally sourced foods is in line with #sdgs to reduce climate change. It would be good to see how support services to increase entrepreneurship like incubators and accelerators fit in here too 100 Ideas Cafe Khalifa Manaa
