Look who's joining TikTok 👀 + here's what you need to know: ⚽ TikTok is deepening its ties to professional soccer through a new multi-year partnership with Major League Soccer as an official partner. ⚽ The deal includes 29 clubs across the U.S. & Canada, in-app programming, exclusive content and in-stadium activations. ⚽ TikTok will kickoff a Club Creator Network to pair content creators with various teams. ⚽ The app will be integrated into every game during the season, be a co-sponsor of the eMLS Cup (league’s #esports tournament) ⚽ TikTok building a closer association to MLS comes as the app is again threatened by an outright ban in the U.S.   All of this on the heels of the app potentially facing an outright ban in the U.S. Most brands were worried about the volatility of Twitter and what to do with that audience in the event it goes away or is harder to reach fans but now, should brands be thinking the same thing for TikTok? #linkedinsports #soccer #socialmediamarketing
