Engaging in the healing of others will always be a delicate situation for me. As long as these two realms intersect, I may harbor the underlying belief that I'm sometimes undeserving of participating in the healing of others. However, I'll always confront the reality that I may be the sole individual who believes this. And this notion should never impede my capacity to assist others on their healing path. See, in my desperate search for relief, I finally admitted that pausing and processing our pains is the only path to genuine healing and growth. This isn't about escaping our feelings but confronting them, understanding them, and allowing time to take root. Coming to a place of wholeness requires holistic healing, mind, body, and spirit. You are learning not to hold back from expressing your emotions out of fear. Expressions of your true heart are a gift to others and to yourself. Remember that!
A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. Proverbs 17:22 NIV
