San Francisco-based cybersecurity startup Abnormal Security closed a $250 million Series D, valuing it at $5.1 billion. Led by Wellington Management, the round saw participation from Greylock Partners, Menlo Ventures, Insight Partners, and Falcon Fund. This valuation is a 28% increase from its $4 billion valuation in May 2022. Founded in 2018, Abnormal leverages machine learning and AI to prevent attacks and find compromised accounts in email and connected applications. With nearly $546 million raised, the startup recently surpassed $200 million in annual recurring revenue.
