Meet Calvin Anthony, an FDM Consultant who recently took on a remarkable challenge for a worthy cause. Having joined FDM two years ago, Calvin has been thriving as a Business Analyst with a leading financial client. “I wanted to transition into the tech industry and after extensive research, I found FDM to be the perfect launchpad for my career. They embrace graduates from all disciplines and value attitude and problem-solving skills over specific degrees.” When Calvin learned about FDM’s partnership with Walking With The Wounded, he jumped at the chance to support veterans facing physical, mental, or social challenges. The team set out with a goal of raising £100 per person to hit a total of £3,200. Despite the initial cohort dropping from 32 to 23, they exceeded expectations and raised £3,479. “The challenge was incredibly rewarding. With perfect weather and an amazing group, we pushed through together”. They tackled the SAS route covering 24km in distance, starting at the iconic Storey Arms Red Telephone Box, climbing Pen y Fan and descending Jacobs Ladder, all while following the ancient Roman road.
