Thanks for the shout out, and was a good read thanks LinkedIn News Australia hello Mick Liubinskas Charlotte Connell and BFF Bill Gates Heres my big ideas prediciton for 2025 Australia has all the ingredients to lead in resilience innovation—cutting-edge research, a thriving tech ecosystem, and real-world exposure to climate extremes. But the question is whether we can shift our focus outward and tap into the energy of startups driving practical solutions. 2025 could be the year Australia moves beyond research and unleashes scalable businesses focused on protecting our future, as opposed to an endless loop of post disaster response. Big changes... Beneath the surface, financial institutions are reshaping how we approach resilience. Insurers and banks are integrating climate risk into pricing models and lending strategies, shifting the dial for businesses and governments alike. These undercurrents could catalyze change faster than many realize, driving innovation in adaptation across industries This could accelerate advancements 2025 is shaping up to be a critical year. It could be the year resilience moves from being a talking point to a defining global effort
Fantastic insights in here, especially around menopause and perimenopause being prominent health and wellbeing focus areas in 2025 and beyond. There is a definite shift in the way we view these natural stages of life and the more we (men included) can understand them the better the outcomes for everyone. We're designing programs and resources for clients around this as we speak so watch this space in 2025!
Thanks for the shout out Cayla Dengate! My big ideas prediction for 2025.... The world will run out of AI training data by 2026 and real-world sources of data will be liberated for the good of humankind. According to numerous sources like The New York Times, Future Magazine, and Smart Company, it’s predicted that by 2026 the world will run out of data for AI to process and learn from. Companies are resorting to mass producing synthetic data devoid of bias’s, errors, and the uniqueness that can only be found in the real world. Prior to the cloud, the world stored the vast majority of its data on tapes, and these tapes are the source of the largest collections of real world data on the planet. These tapes store everything from unbiased data like temperature measurements recorded in Iceland, to heavily biased data like health research where people of colour are severely underrepresented. Training AI on the world's actual history will unveil our historical biases and allow AI and ourselves to recognize and offer new solutions to the human condition. In my view, AI must learn from the REAL past rather than someone else’s manufactured version of it.

Thank you for the mention, especially linked to Australia's declining birth rate which should lead to more questions regarding the motherhood penalty. This penalty gets bigger with every child, and follows a woman well into retirement.
