AI-generated ads in Campaign Manager

When you create single image ads in Campaign Manager, you can use AI to quickly generate your ads. The AI features available for creating single image ads vary depending on the type of campaign you’re creating: Accelerate or Classic.

Use AI to draft a full ad, including the:

  • Introductory text 

  • Headline 

  • Image 

  • Call-to-action (CTA)

Manually select your image and call-to-action (CTA).

Image selection
  • Accelerate uses AI to score and rank images from your media library and high-quality images from Shutterstock, and then selects suggested images for your ads.

  • You can replace any ad image by selecting a different image from your media library, Shutterstock, or using Microsoft Designer.

  • The images in your media library are ranked using AI.

  • The first five images are automatically selected as suggestions for your ads.

Information used to generate ads
  • Data sourced from your publicly accessible LinkedIn company and product Page information.   

  • The name, URL, and description you provided about your brand, product, or service at the start of campaign creation.   

  • Ad copy from your existing high-performing ads.   

  • Campaign targeting criteria.

  • Data sourced from your publicly accessible LinkedIn company and product Page information.

  • Ad copy from your existing high-performing ads.

AI-generated ads for Accelerate campaigns by objective

If you use AI to generate draft ads for an Accelerate campaign, there may be additional information used to create your ad based on the objective.

  • Website visits - When you create a website visits campaign and use AI to create your ads, Accelerate uses the URL you provided at the start of campaign creation as the destination URL for your ads. You can edit the destination URL by directly editing your ads. 
  • Lead generation - When you create a lead generation campaign and use AI to create your ads, Accelerate automatically creates or selects a Lead Gen Form for your ads. 
    • If you don’t have existing Lead Gen Forms, Accelerate automatically generates a suggested one for you using popular fields. You'll need to provide a privacy policy URL for the form. You can edit the Lead Gen Form by editing the ad in the campaign.  
    • If you have existing Lead Gen Forms, Accelerate automatically selects your most recently used form. You can change the form to a different existing form or autogenerated template. To edit your existing Lead Gen Forms, go to your asset library.
