My team and I developed a site plan that eliminates the inefficiencies of enclosed mall development by shutting down the mall concourse to transform and “de-mall” the facility to create front loading big box leasable space and signed leases with national retailers Burlington Coat Factory and Big Lots! My team and I developed a site plan that eliminates the inefficiencies of enclosed mall development by shutting down the mall concourse to transform and “de-mall” the facility to create front loading big box leasable space and signed leases with national retailers Burlington Coat Factory and Big Lots! We also worked with the municipality on a $5+ million TIF package for tenant improvements and infrastructure construction to develop outlots on undeveloped highway frontage of the site. We worked in conjunction with the Illinois Department of Transportation to secure a signalized access to the entrance of the newly developed outlots.
