Job Title: Cerner Clinical Cutover Project Manager Key Responsibilities: ✅Clinical Workflow Analysis: Assess existing clinical workflows and identify opportunities for improvement during the transition to the Cerner EHR system. ✅Project Planning and Management: Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for the cutover process. Ensure all project milestones are met. ✅Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with clinical, technical and administrative staff (physicians, nurses, allied health professionals) to gather requirements, insights, concerns, and facilitate communication to ensure their needs are met in the new system. ✅Training and Education: Develop and implement comprehensive training programs tailored to various clinical roles, ensuring staff are proficient in using the Cerner system for patient care. ✅Change Management: Facilitate change management strategies that address the clinical staff’s concerns and resistance to new processes, ensuring buy-in and adoption of the new system. ✅Clinical Data Migration: Oversee the migration of clinical data from legacy systems to Cerner, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards. ✅User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Lead UAT sessions with clinical teams to validate that the system meets clinical requirements and supports safe patient care. ✅Post-Cutover Support: Monitor clinical operations post-cutover, addressing any clinical workflow disruptions and ensuring ongoing support for clinical staff. ✅Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions during the cutover process. ✅Cutover Execution: Lead the day-to-day activities during the cutover phase, ensuring all tasks are completed as scheduled. ✅Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance post-cutover and address any issues that arise to ensure a smooth transition. ✅Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the cutover process, including lessons learned and best practices for future projects.

#JobSeeker tip ahead... Folks get a lot of heat on this platform when they suggest that jobseekers answer their phones a certain way. So I'm not going to assert how to answer your phone, but just know that I'm definitely on team say hello and say your name. "Hi, this is Cassie." Today I'm going to tell you now not to answer your phone when you're jobseeking, particularly at the time of our agreed upon interview cccaaaallllllll... Don't answer with a nasty attitude as if you think it's going to be a telemarketer or political call. Bad attitude tones aren't a great way to start the interview. And you know what I mean here, because we've all done this. Don't answer the phone with the underpinning in your voice being, "what do you want, you're bothering me." Being rude right out the gate isn't a good start to your interview, because, particularly in professional services, recruiters are trained to think, "well, what if they answered a client call like this...?"
