“I've worked with Lisa more than once, and have loved every experience. She is brilliantly creative, well connected, and a wonderful writer. She has an amazing ability to take a body of complex, vague and scattered information, and turn it into an interesting and compelling story. And the icing on the cake - she's great fun! I can't recommend her strongly enough.”

About
As an award-winning journalist, I’m your ideal partner for crafting a distinct, provocative point-of-view to prospects, clients, and the business community. My passion lies in making your ideas resonate deeply with anyone you want to influence.
I move easily amongst tech, retail, media, and Fortune 500 companies given the speed and style with which I write. I’ve written speeches and developed thought leadership content that engages, motivates, and inspires, working with C-Level executives at Allstate, Mondelēz, and JCPenney as well as universities and ad agencies of all sizes. My work has captivated audiences across five continents -- from marketers to franchisees –and has appeared in Forbes, The Wall St. Journal, The Chronicle of Higher Education, Business Insider, and Ad Age.
Industry executives also value my ability to tackle marketing communication projects big and small that need a clear voice and have a hard deadline – everything from launching Catalina’s Shopping Basket Index to developing webinars and CPG trend pieces.
Specialties: C-level speech writer, webinar content development, industry-specific thought leadership, executive communication, website copywriter, communication strategy

How can you make your thought leadership content more accessible and searchable?
Think 1 slide per minute of presentation. A strong visual and 10 words top. If you put your complete idea on a slide the audience will read ahead, get bored, and not remember your main points an hour later. Use a visual or quote that supports the bigger concept.

How can you make your thought leadership content more accessible and searchable?
Pick a favorite friend or auntie who knows nothing of the subject. Pretend you’re at a bar explaining your idea. Jargon will fall away. Your tone will become conversational. If you start to pontificate, imagine their eye roll.

How can you make your thought leadership content more accessible and searchable?
Often your conclusion should instead by your lead. Identify the biggest tension point or ‘ah ha’ of your piece and then back into the logic that got you there. Chronological reasoning is a big snooze fest in thought leadership.
