Endeavor Hospice was a year old start-up with the goal to take care of patients towards their end of life. My lofty goal, with much success, was to have Case Managers refer their patients to us. From major contract negotiations to patent applications and website design, I was involved in almost every aspect of Poppy Pocket’s growth.

Winning an exclusive contract with InfuSystem to carry this device was a huge win, both for me and for patients across the country. This agreement compelled oncology offices to sign on to InfuSystems because they wanted their patients to benefit from the pocket. I loved seeing how something I helped grow from conception to scaling internationally could impact a patient’s quality of life.

At the BBB, my business development role was to encourage Fortune 500 companies to become part of the local bureau. I was the first person to encourage some of the bigger companies like Oracle to become part of their local bureau. Usually the national BBB won these big companies, but I figured, “If you don’t ask, you don’t know.”

I was #1 in the country from a revenue standpoint for a number of years. Working with the BBB was an ideal fit because my work efforts mirrored my personal values and work ethic. I represented an organization that depicts fairness, truth, and justice. Show less
