Production Manager
Direct Hire Position
Perth Amboy, NJ area
Pay is dependent on experience.
 
Job Summary:
  • Plans, manages and directs the work of production personnel. Ensures cost effective, quality production of product according to standards.
 
Required Skills
  • Must have a HS Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 plus years’ experience out of a food, preferably baked goods, manufacturing company and at least 1 of those years managing a shift or team
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation as it relates to production
  • Ability to Overses daily operations and monitors production supervisors.
  • Knowledge of how to ensure cost effective, quality production of products.
  • Prior experience supporting a team in achieving compliance with all applicable quality and regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, OSHA, etc.).
