Production Manager

Arctech Solar Holding Co., Ltd. is a prominent Chinese enterprise expanding its global presence by establishing a new factory in Saudi Arabia to support Arctech 2025 vision (be the 1 class worldwide of solar tracking system). We are in search of a highly qualified and experienced Saudi Arabian Administrative and Facility Supervisor to oversee production and planning during the construction phase of our factory.

The new company in Saudi will be the manufacturing center in Middle East and Africa to supply this huge market which have 50GW volume in the next 5 years. Total 8GW yearly capacity will be planned in this new plant. Whole project includes 3 phases, it will produce the main structure parts of our tracking system.

Responsibilities:

• Manages production department, include fabrication, punching process.
• Do the resources planning (manpower and equipment) based on the sales requirement, and manage the people resources to ensure the OTD;
• Setup the daily quality check routines to ensure the highest quality level, and minimize the cost of quality
• Setup the daily people management routine to ensure the highest efficiency level, even with temporary workers during the peak times;
• Make the constructive proposal for capacity increasing as per business requirements
• Cooperate with maintenance team to keep machines and facility in good condition.
• Lead the manufacturing workgroups in developing and implementing both continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives on safety, work process, productivity, efficiency and cost savings.
• Working with safety committee and lead all work groups to drive improvement plans on plant EHS, to ensure compliance with company deliverables, local legislation and regulations including risk assessment.
• Working with engineering team to support new product and sample development by very quick response.
• Differentiate subordinate performance and determine rewards based on that performance; Coach and mentor subordinates for personal and professional development.
• Other responsibilities to be determined as needed.

Requirements:

• Degree in engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Tooling .
• 8+ years relevant experience in industrial products and manufacturing industry with at least 5 years on managerial level. Metal fabrication is preferred.
• Good knowledge in Lean, TPM, quality control system.
• Proficient in English and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong leadership and result - oriented.
• Logical thinking with strong stress tolerance.
• Able to facilitate conflict situations and keep supervisor informed appropriately.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skill.
• Independent organized and self-motivated
