We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as an Accounting Administrator with a focus on accounts payable tasks. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes, with responsibilities ranging from daily check and EFT runs to assisting Welltower teams across the company to manage their vendors and invoices. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of accounting principals and the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities
The Accounts Payable Administrator is primarily responsible for directing the procure to pay process from vendor set-up and invoice receipt to payment. Specific tasks could include:
Handle tasks related to credit card program reconciliation, payment and reporting.
Review and reconcile the AP Aging and resolve aged balances.
Complete accurate and timely payments of all vendor payables.
Perform daily check and EFT runs and any additional payment runs as needed. Adhere to all SOX control procedures including check signing authorization policies and limits.
Troubleshoot accounts payable related questions and communicate solutions to individuals of all levels within the Company, as needed.
Communicate directly with vendors to facilitate vendor set up, validate payment methods, assist with invoice submission and provide information regarding payment status.
Continuously strive to improve the payment process and gain efficiencies in daily tasks.

Minimum Requirements
High School graduate or GED equivalent
Some college preferred or equivalent bookkeeping/accounting courses or seminars
At least one (3) year accounts payable or general accounting experience preferred.
Ability to use Microsoft productivity software including Word and Excel.
Experience with Yardi and/or Concur is a plus.
Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
