Lawyers on Demand (LOD) is seeking an Accounts Receivable Coordinator to support one of our global clients in delivering the highest level of service to internal and external clients alike.


Duties and Responsibilities:


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Revenue Manager to coordinate all aspects of receivables.
  • Reconcile client accounts for a portfolio in multiple currencies.
  • Assist with the preparation of various reports for the Revenue Manager.
  • Act as backup for other positions within the Revenue team.
  • Complete special projects regarding accounts receivables for the Revenue Manager and others as requested.
  • Coordinate research projects and disseminate workflow among the Revenue Team when necessary.
  • Build and nurture client relations to enhance Revenue.
  • Handle research and reconciliation of delinquent account issues.
  • Perform routine receivables functions.
  • Demonstrate organization and time management skills.
  • Work with minimal supervision.
  • Timely and regular attendance.


Key Departmental Responsibilities:

  • Monitor accounts receivable for past-due policy compliance.
  • Communicate to clients and/or billing partners to identify open items.
  • Research, document, and resolve open items.
  • Prepare audit letters for the Manager’s review.
  • Work in collaboration with the billing and general ledger department to resolve posting errors.


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience using an accounting software system and 2+ years prior administrative accounting support required.
  • Must have experience using 3E.
  • Strong Excel skills, including creating tables, formatting, and knowledge of basic formulas required.
  • Must be detail-oriented and have excellent follow-through.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to correspond directly with clients via email or telephone.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
  • Law firm experience is a plus, including knowledge of law firm billing.
  • Experience with automated collection systems is a plus.


Lawyers On Demand (LOD) offers flexible talent placement rates that range from $15 to $100 per hour depending upon experience level and specific skills requested by the client, candidate’s general skill set, applicability of candidate skill set to client need, client budget, number of hours requested, and other factors. A specific rate of pay for a project will be discussed with you if it is determined that you are a potential fit for a role.
