The job includes a mix of PR strategy, pitching, relationship building, media list creation, client communication, research, reporting, and more. All candidates will be expected to speak about past experience, elaborate on real world problem solving skills, and share professional references.
This is a hybrid position based in NYC at a flexible, employee-first organization. Only candidates with 1-2 years of relevant internship or employment experience will be considered.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Maintain media interest trackers, sample request logs, press kits, image archives, meeting agendas/recaps, and other admin materials
Stay organized — adopt agency best practices (Monday.com) and proactively ask for support when needed
Build and expand media knowledge and relationships on behalf of clients
Build thoughtful, strategic and targeted media lists, using organic research and agency tools (Muck Rack, RocketReach, etc.)
Draft written press materials (press releases, bios, pitches) with senior team support
Execute pitch initiatives and media outreach
Communicate with clients through regular emails and reporting
Attend in-person client meetings, photoshoots and events
Demonstrate a desire to grow, learn and adapt based on positive and constructive feedback from supervisors
Requirements:
At least 1-2 years of proven industry experience (internship or employment)
Full-time; hybrid office arrangement based in Midtown NYC
