Position Overview:
As an Audio Visual Programmer , you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing software solutions for a variety of audio visual systems. You will be responsible for programming and configuring approximately 40 different types of audio software, as well as handling networking tasks and writing code to enhance the functionality of microphones, speakers, and other AV equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Program and configure audio software for a diverse range of audio visual systems.
Develop custom solutions to meet the unique needs of clients and projects.
Handle networking tasks related to audio visual systems, ensuring seamless connectivity and performance.
Write clean, efficient code to enhance the functionality and performance of microphones, speakers, and other AV equipment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
Conduct testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve software issues.
Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our offerings.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in audio visual programming, with proficiency in approximately 40 different types of audio software.
Strong programming skills, with proficiency in Python and C++.
Experience with Crestron programming is highly desirable.
Knowledge of networking principles and protocols.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
