Business Data Analyst

For one of my customer we are looking for a Data Business Analyst.

Location: Europe(100% remote)

Duration: 1+ year renewable

Description:

• Work closely with the Product owner and business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges.
• Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements, use cases, and workflows.
• Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications - acceptance criteria - to designers, quality analysts and developers in an Agile setting.
• Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and validation of implemented solutions.
• Ensure that delivered solutions meet the specified requirements and are of high quality.
• Participate in daily standup scrums, sprint planning meetings, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
• Actively follow the progress of the sprint to confirm implementation meets the intent of acceptance criteria.

Skills & Experience:

• Proficiency in requirement gathering techniques, process modeling, and documentation
• Excellent verbal / written communication and interpersonal skills
• Expert in Excel or Gsheets & macros
• Proficiency in using project management and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello) is preferred
• Strong organizational & time management skills, with a self-starting, entrepreneurial mindset
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• 3+ years as a Business Analyst or in a related role
• Experience working on Microsoft/ Azure based projects, with a focus on Fabric and Power Apps technologies
• 3+ years of software development experience in an Agile setting
• Proven ability to translate non-technical information into a technical level of detail that developers can work with
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus)
