Prospera Executive are currently recruiting for a CFO on behalf of a recently Private Equity backed manufacturing business. Your role will play a key part in professionalising the business post transaction, supporting the transition from owner managed to investor backed. The role will then pivot in to driving growth, both organically and through M&A.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, financial reporting, treasury, and tax.
Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s buy and build growth strategy.
Provide commercial and strategic insights to support acquisition activities, including due diligence and integration processes.
Work closely with the Private Equity investors to ensure alignment on financial objectives and performance metrics.
Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and controls to support scalability and efficiency.
Monitor and manage cash flow, funding requirements, and capital structure to support growth initiatives.
Act as a key advisor to the CEO and executive team on financial matters and business strategy.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Prepare for and support the company through a strategic sale process in 3-4 years.
Experience in M&A activity including identifying and selecting targets, deal negotiation, due diligence, completion and operational integration of acquired businesses
