Using ethical and sustainable methods to create made-to-order pieces they have a reputation for creating unique pieces which can’t be replicated or found anywhere else on the market.



The Role



The Chief Marketing Officer will be integral supporting the CEO & Founder to scale the business towards $1 billion in the coming the years. Uniquely positioned in the D2C e-commerce space they are already profitable and are looking to define and communicate the brand story to connect with the consumer more closely.



Responsibilities:



  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies: Craft and implement holistic marketing strategies that encompass various channels, with a focus on digital platforms, to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention.


  • Define and articulate the brand's unique story: Lead efforts to define the brand's narrative, values, and positioning in the market, ensuring consistency across all marketing touchpoints to resonate with target audiences.


  • Enhance social media engagement: Oversee the development of engaging social media content and strategies to grow and engage our audience across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok. Analyze social media metrics to optimize content performance and drive meaningful interactions with the community.


  • Strengthen influencer partnerships: Identify and cultivate relationships with influencers and brand ambassadors who align with brand values and target audience. Collaborate with influencers to create authentic and compelling content that drives brand awareness, fosters trust, and generates buzz around products.


  • Optimize affiliate marketing initiatives: Lead the optimization of affiliate marketing program to drive incremental revenue and expand reach. Identify and onboard strategic affiliate partners, negotiate partnership terms, and develop compelling promotional materials and offers to incentivize affiliate engagement and sales.


  • Implement tracking and attribution: Implement robust tracking and attribution mechanisms to accurately measure the performance and impact of affiliate marketing campaigns. Analyze attribution data to assess the effectiveness of different affiliate partners and campaigns, optimize performance, and allocate resources accordingly.


  • Track and report on affiliate performance: Track key performance metrics related to affiliate marketing, such as clicks, conversions, and revenue generated. Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate affiliate performance to internal stakeholders and identify opportunities for optimization and growth.


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and finance, to ensure alignment and coordination across all aspects of the marketing program. Leverage insights and feedback from other teams to inform affiliate strategy and drive results.


  • Stay abreast of industry trends: Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in affiliate marketing and e-commerce. Proactively identify new opportunities and innovations



What you need:


  • Experience leading a Marketing function in a scale-up brand (ideally from $100m to $500m+)
  • Previous experience building brand engagement and awareness to drive growth
  • Excellent communication skills and commercially astute
  • Great rapport builder with senior leaders



What we’d like to see:


  • Leading the Marketing function for a D2C e-commerce brand
  • OR Leading the Marketing function for a disruptive CPG or product business
  • Previous experience in a rapid scale up phase ($50-100m to $300m+)
  • Experience leading international teams



Salary: $400,000 - $600,000 + Bonus + Equity



Location: New York OR Remote
