Cost Accountant - West Fort Worth (65k-70k)

LHH is working with a manufacturing company in the west Fort Worth area that is adding a new Cost Accountant to their team. We are seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Cost Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, managing, implementing, and maintaining production standards, policies, and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide proficient administrative support to our production team.
• Enhance efficiency by streamlining processes and procedures.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Production Team Leaders, and Supply Chain.
• Oversee the costs of materials, goods, services, and activities.
• Manage Raw Material, Finished Goods, and Fixed Assets Inventory counts.
• Standardize processes and procedures across all ledgers.
• Monitor production supply spending and ensure timely end-of-month closing.
• Ensure compliance of daily activities through effective measurements, including AP resource performance.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or relevant experience.
• 2-3 years of experience in a production environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment.
• Self-motivated with strong initiative to work independently.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
