  • Calico Cottage** ** Customer Care Specialist** Amityville, NY 11701 **This is a non remote position at our Amityville location.** **Your mission** Your mission as the Customer CareSpecialist at Calico is to be responsible to drive revenue through successful life cycle and high-quality touch client experience of each retailer in their territory, from the acquisition to the ongoing stage of their engagement with Calico. Success is defined by maximizing each retailers sales performance within a designated Calico Retailing Program referenced against the retailers potential based on properly executing the program success factor activities. This position will be the key contact for a territory of customers, supporting their needs including ordering, invoicing, and resolving non-conformance issues. The Customer Care Specialist will play a key role in customers maximizing their opportunity by proactively supporting the Calico communication strategy/calendar and offering program advice and guidance. This position will also be responsible to partner with the Customer Success Advisors to effectively support customers throughout their journey at Calico. **Calicos Customer Care Specialist...** You play a key role in supporting a work environment where everyone can thrive.
  • Process all inbound customer inquiries: customer order taking, shipping and product inquiries/issues, equipment service, billing dispensaries, payment processing, and general customer inquiries.
  • Obtain excellent company and product knowledge to be able to provide extraordinary customer support.
  • Handle freight logistics including assigning proper shipping methods to all orders, follow customer routing instructions and actively look for freight cost saving opportunities and manage carrier freight claims.
  • Communicate with Sales on order pattern issues and additional customer support needed.
  • Handle complex problems/issues and offering guidance to team members when needed.
  • Communicate Calicos ongoing plan/strategy in support of the business including outbound calls.
  • Attend 1 tradeshow annually and/or accompany a Sales Rep on Customer Visits as deemed appropriate by the Director of Customer Engagement.
  • Front Desk Administration: Professionally and courteously answer incoming phones within 2 rings and meet and greet all persons entering the Calico building, ensuring proper sign-in and security procedures are met.
  • Accountable for securing and maintaining proper GMP and confidentiality documentation for all visitors, as well as tracking data. **Essential Requirements and Experience**
  • High School Diploma/GED; College degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of customer service experience.
  • Computer literacy, Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, Logistics, and NAV (Navision) preferred.
