We are looking for a Data Analyst (m/f/d).


This role will play a vital role in enabling better Data Analysis and operations of our production sites by hands-on improving the Data Quality of our assets production data.

By leveraging their strong analytical skills, they will help us identify systematic flaws in the ETL processes of our application landscape, drive automated detection of issues and support the performance analysis of wind turbine production data originating in SCADA systems.

Job discription:


Automate Data Monitoring:

Develop Python based automatic checks of the data quality in our SCADA Data processing systems in terms of completeness, time delays and consistency across systems.

Analysis and handling of operational data issues:

Investigate upcoming issues of the ingested data both reported by automatic validation checks and manually reported from the business and handover to respective operations or development teams; retrigger ETL jobs to backfill data gaps after issue resolution.

Collaborate across teams:

Support the development teams by coming up with strategies to improve the robustness and performance of data processing based on an overarching view of SCADA data processing and analysis use cases.

Support Business Analysts & Data Scientists:

Support our heavy users of the SCADA data in the transition towards MLOps and use of Databricks and Pyspark based on a solid understanding of technologies and our dynamic data landscape


Qualifications:


SQL Data Analysis skills: Proven experience in investigating data issues and working with data on a complicated system landscape of SQL Databases and applications processing timeseries and turbine alarm data

Python Development: Experience in Python development with a focus on processing data for automatic quality checks, analysis and dashboarding

Cloud and Databricks Knowledge: Experience in working with Azure Cloud resources, specifically Databricks and Azure Datalake

Experience working with SCADA data from Wind Turbines or similar telemetry data

DevOps working mindset: Need to be able to be integrated into DevOps way of working and understand criticality of Development and Maintainability
