Responsibilities
- Data Architecture and Management:
- Design, collaborate, implement, and maintain data architecture solutions that support business objectives and data strategy;
- Develop and optimize ETL processes to ensure data accuracy, quality, and reliability;
- Maintain and update data infrastructure, including data warehouses, databases, and data lakes.
- Data Analysis & Integration:
- Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions;
- Integrate data from various sources to create comprehensive data solutions that meet stakeholder needs;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data integration strategies.
- Azure & SQL:
- Utilize Azure Services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database) to develop scalable data solutions;
- Employ SQL for data querying, analysis, and optimization of data models;
- Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in data engineering;
- Recommend innovative solutions to improve system efficiency and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in Data Engineering and Architecture.
- Solid understanding of data analysis principles, data modeling, and ETL processes.
- Proficiency in Azure services, ADF, Azure SQL, SQL, and data integration tools.
- In-depth knowledge of relational and non-relational database management systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business insights, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently with interdepartmental teams and other internal stakeholders
- Demonstrates the qualities of “Hungry, Humble, and Smart”.
Preferred
- Master’s degree.
- Professional certification in data engineering (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate).
