We are looking for a candidate for a Deputy Chief Operating Officer position for a global consulting and executive client services company.


Key Responsibilities

Operational Management:

  • Support the COO in managing daily operations across multiple departments, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure timely reporting to senior leadership.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Collaborate with department heads to address challenges and drive process improvements.
  • Ensure consistent communication and alignment between teams to achieve business goals.

Client Experience:

  • Oversee client delivery processes to maintain the company’s standard of excellence.
  • Implement systems to streamline client onboarding and service delivery.
  • Handle escalated client issues and ensure swift resolution.

Project Management:

  • Coordinate large-scale projects, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and systemization of operational workflows.

Strategic Planning:

  • Contribute to long-term strategic planning with the COO and executive team.
  • Identify opportunities for expansion, operational efficiency, and innovation.
  • Conduct market research to ensure operations align with emerging industry trends.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure company operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.


Key Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in operations, management consulting, or a similar leadership role.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and managing complex projects in fast-paced environments.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage cross-cultural teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and operational software.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).

Knowledge: Familiarity with global business operations, tax strategies, and international markets is highly desirable.
